Default What are MCFC's long term ambitions?

After Man City's recent failure to secure a top level coach, together with the collapse of the takeover bid, I think it would do well for the Man City board and their fans to stop and consider just what are the long term goals for their club. Of course, in the short term you would desire more attacking football and an increase in goals at the Eastlands but what of the future?

Would Man City fans be happy with premiership survival? or do they desire consisent European football? Is this even realistic?

What are Man City fans thoughts?

I think a club like city should be able to aim as high as say Ranieri or Sven, Sven in probably the better option if you stood any chance of actually getting him (I doubt he be interested in a club like you though).

He's the only manager who was won the Double (League and Cup in the same season), in three different countries, having won it in Sweden, Portugal and Italy.

It's a pedigree like that, that got him the England job, he's a man who know the Premiership inside out from his time at the FA. Christ, this man got Lazio to win Serie-A, they've only done that once before in almost 90 years of trying!

He asked City to call him a short while back so he must be interested in us(or just desperate for a job)although I doubt that as he's hardly skint.
