We laugh at him, but we all have our own Titus Bramble. Or Pascal Cygan. The guys who perform one game, and blunder the next without warning or explanation.
We also have our Jens Lehmann. The guy who leads the team in yellows every year no matter what. He may even perform well, but is guaranteed to lose his head any minute now.
We all have our own Michael Owen, the guy who is being paid millions to play 14 times over two seasons.
We all have our Jeremy Aliadiere. You know, the 'next Thierry Henry.' Or, the 'underperformer.' Whichever suits you.
We all have our Joey Barton.
Okay, true. We don't all have a Joey Barton.
But anyway, who do you wish your club would drop, transfer, or refuse to resign? Here's your chance to light into your least favourite players.
As for Arsenal, I'm torn. Aliadiere is definitely on his way out so he hardly matters, but I don't even care if we keep him...won't bother me to see him on the reserves and he may actually be a decent wing substitute.
But to move on, I think we've got to replace Hleb. We were told that we had a defense-splitting dribbling/linking attacking midfielder coming, and what we have now is a right wing that enjoys running in parallel to the edge of the penalty area then passing the ball backwards.
Or Senderos. The guy messes up more than anyone in defense, yet no one seems to notice. His height is his only asset, but I'm not sure he's agile or strong enough to use it to his advantage. He's not very fast nor does he seem to read the game well.
Last fall he returned from his World Cup injury and immediately replaced an efficient Johan Djourou to make three starts in a row, only to earn four of the sloppiest, most unecessary yellow cards. For some reason it took a red to get him out of the lineup, and we ended up losing 3 points to Fulham after playing a man down for 30 minutes.
A couple months later, as the last defender he concedes a penalty and gets sent off for taking down Yakubu. Middlesborough draw, we lose 2 points. 5 points total that would've put us in third place easily.
