I know that is not a joke, i mean is not a big deal for fans at least. However since Barcalys is the official sponsor, the press and match commentators have called the league as the Barclays Premierleague... I don't know if was the same when Carling was the sponsor, but the essence remains Premierleague/English Premierleague.
