Default Arsenal

I don't understand what Arsenal are thinking. First they sell Thierry Henry, one of the world's best forwards for 16 million. Then they don't even get a decent replacement (Eduardo da Silva). But the list continues: Ces Fabregas along with Wenger are being heavily pursued by Real Madrid. Jose Antonio Reyes has secured a permanent move to Real. William Gallas, Ces Fabergas and fellow teammates have spoken publicly about their concerns about how the club is being run and the lack of new talent being transfered into the club. And two starters: Eboue and Adebayor are going to be gone in the African Cup. Then comes the fact that they are one of the youngest teams in the league. What are they going to do to pull themselves out of this mess?

That's a good question. Things are not looking great for Arsenal right now.

Eduardo da Silva is amazing for your info. Scored the first ever euro goal at the Emirates Stadium scored against england. 17 aperance for Croatia 10 goals and he got the same ratio in his club. Wenger will be staying theirs contract talks as we speak and Cesc said he would NOT move to Real Madrid. Arsenal will do just fine...won't win the league but will still place 4th...but when those young guns develope(and when Carlos Vela comes in) Arsenal will win everythign!

Know your football before complaining son!

The signings have been: Sagna, Eduardo, Fabianski

Arsenal lost only Henry and they did a very decent job without him most of last season. They strenghtened the defense and they have made the attack younger.

You still have to remember that arsenal have Robin Van Persie who is only getting better. Reyes went to Madrid for good, but he was never really effective for Arsenal and didn't adjust well so that is not a big loss at all. And Bendtner has come back from loan and he is a better player than Adebayor in my oppinion.

This is how I see Arsenal playing next season:

-----------------Lehmann----------------
--Sagna---Toure---Senderos---Eboue--
---Hleb--------Fabregas-----RVP--------
-----------------Rosicky------------------
----Eduardo-----Bendtner/Adebayor----

I think that squad looks better than last year and really there is nothing to worry about for any rational Arsenal fan. When the african nation's cup is going on, there are subs like Flamini, Diaby, Clichy, Hoyte.

And you also have the super subs that can start: Walcott, Gilberto, Ljungberg and Denilson.

So even with injuries and absences, there are plenty of people that can fill the positions and the team has added more than lost for the new season. So don't worry too much. They didn't spend 80 million like man utd and liverpool, but they can still challange them regularly.

playing RVP on the left midfield is like playing ruud van nistelrooy as keeper

RVP is our main striker this year, 20 + goals

Bendtner better then Adebayor ? How many times have you seen Bendtner play ?

I prefer Clichy instead Sagna.

Flamini works like a charm in the left wing, just remeber his perfromance against the blues in Stamford Bridge, altought he's not a natural winger he does pretty good when attacking, also is really good in defence. Is a must place v.Perse upfront beside Adebayor.

Arsenal didn't spend million of pounds, but they made a clever sell, Henry, I always had the image of Arsenal playing for Henry, just as Atlético playing all the time for Torres, if they were not in shape, the team was crap. Now is time to other players to shine, there's a hell of new blood there. In my opinion, Rosicky will have the same impact as Ronaldo in United last season.

Flameni on the wing ?

The only reason flameni is staying with Arsenal is because no other team wants him.
