Celtic - Ins & Outs okay this is an article that Im going to write about the arrivals and departures from Celtic Park this season I hope you enjoy it...
first we will start off with Massimo Donati who Celtic signed for 3 million I have seen very very little of this player because I dont watch the Serie A much but im going to look at it from this perspective Donati was signed by Milan when he was 20 years old for 10 million so it must show he has some major quality's during his time at Milan he hardly got a game in the first team, He also has been on loan to Parma, Torino, Sampdoria, Messina an also former club Atalanta so he must have a vast expierance of the game, I think 3 million is an okay price considering Milan bought the player for 10 million but I just hope Strachan made the right choice in signing the player who hopefully will be playing a Petrov type role.
Now that brings me to Scott Brown a young talented Scotland midfielder who played with Hibs, He has shown alot of promise to be a great player in the past season or two. Celtic signed the player for 4.4million and its the highest transfer fee between two clubs in Scotland.. Brown got his first cap for Scotland earlier this year against Italy which he played brilliantly in also he has scored a good few against Celtic and I think he will be a great addition to the squad...
Speaking about scoring against Celtic... Scott Mcdonald Celtic's new striker pops into mind after scoring a overhead scissor kick against Celtic two seasons ago cost Celtic goal difference and Rangers won the league, I dont think he is Celtic calabre but Im willing to give him a chance at least and hopefully he can make up for what he done two seasons ago...
Also other striker and new Celtic signing Chris Killen joined Celtic on a free transfer, He played in the SPL with Hibs last season and was quite a good goalscorer including a few against Rangers but again I dont think this player is good enough to play with Celtic. Yes he might have had a good time at Hibs but there is a big step when you come to Celtic and I dont think the player will last.
As you probably all ready know Celtic's former Captain left the club at the end of the season and what a last season he had he helped Celtic progress in Europe and also helped win the Scottish Cup and Scottish Premier League, He joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer, I would like to wish him the best of luck down south...
Also speaking of down south goalkeeper David Marshall and Craig Beattie both left Celtic for a combined fee of around 2.5 Million, Marshall joined Norwich and Beattie joining West Brom, Good luck to both also.
