What better for a player to have ?
1- Shoots with power
or
2- Places shot
or
3- Curls shot
or some sort of combination ?

I'd say it comes down to personal preference. Though, the latter two seem to be more of a finesse thing while the first one's pure strength... so I'd give that to someone with low creative stats.
