Player A, born in Bolivia, does not speak a word of English, nor has he ever been to England. He can't point to the country on a map, and has no idea who the Queen is.

Player B: Born outside the UK to foreign parents, but moved to England the day after he was born. British citizen, has never set foot outside England.

Now, according to you, A should be allowed to represent England, while B shouldn't. Surely I'm not the only one who thinks that's absurd?

The fact is they do have a claim, if the current law states that.

I'd be eligible for 5 internation nations I think, would probably play for any of them given a chance, as I don't feel especially close to any of them.

I did read something about Darren Bent's dad looking into whether or not Darren and Marcus were related somehow, I think there was something about both families coming from Jamaica.

Zidane is of Algerian descent, Henry and Anelka both French/Martinique.
