also i dont like this talk of Carr leaving. If this happens which it wont then maybe we should buy Finnan.

It will happen because A) you're sh*t, B) he has ambition and C) He'll be available on a Bosman.

As for Finnan - how on earth could you tempt Fulham to sell?

Car'll be available on a Bosman in 2.5 years time, during which time anything can happen. Hell, Sunderland could even be back in the Premiership.

I'd prefer Steven Wright meself, but why on earth would he want to come to us, eh?

Another dominant display resulting in defeat. The team has major shortcomings throughout, and I don't hold much hope that they'll be addressed in the near future. If we don't win on Saturday we can truly consider our season finished. I ain't confident.

I think Tottenham need that creative spark in the middle of the midfield. They need someone to spread around the passes and get into space. They need someone ot do what Hoddle or Gascoigne done. Anderton is good but doesnt possess that flair. The closest thing we have is in Davies.

I think Spurs need to spend whatever is asked to get Phillips, because the one thing they lack is a goalscorer and he would be perfect for them.

Not really relevent when you consider that 29 yr old Phillips that would cost £10m plus and there are better, younger players you can get for that kind of money.

Phillips would be a dream come true for Spurs. I really hope they don't get him - that's how good I think he is. I can't think of anyone better at an affordable price - with the exception perhaps, of Fowler. Viduka is an overrated, lardy Aussie b@stard IMHO.

Hmm i was sure Carr was out of contract much sooner than that. As for Stephen Wright - have him, he's a very poor full back, probably more suited to centre half.

Maybe we dont need a proven goalscorer from another club. What about Steven Ferguson and Johnnie Jackson they were tipped to break into the first tema this season. Maybe we should buy Morientes hes being wasted at Real Madrid and it looks like we wont get Salas until next season. Also Steffen Iversen if given a good run will prove to be a good goal scorer look at what he did at the end of last year.

Maybe Hoddle should start Rebrov and give him a chance.

B) We dont have empty seats when we play Liverpool (37,000 lol)
C) We're not as **** as Sunderland
D) Kevin Phillips would move to us like a shot, as w're not as **** as Sunderland
E) Did I mention that we're not as **** as Sunderland?
F) We could lose 4 times in a season to Sunderland and still finish above them in the league
G) Oh and we're not as **** as Sunderland.
H) We have loyal fans who would turn up even if we were as **** as Sunderland, who rarely sell out the city of light- I always though the point of having large stadium was because you could fill it.

I think that about covers it.

Bradford Hoddles home coming (and many others) 26,000 - you also haven't had the dearth of goals or entertainment or the results we have had, go back to the time a couple of years or so ago under your namesake and i think your comments will be made to look quite stupid.

Why hasn't Phillips moved then?

Just read that Fenerbache have been in contact ith Spurs about a loan deal for Rebrov. Hopefully for Rebrov's sake they accept and Rebrov can get back into top form.
I think we have ruined Rebrov's career or at least Hoddle has. That is one thing i can never forgive hoddle for
