I couldn't include everyone! Plus I only really think Punk in Drublic and The Decline are top quality. Prone to much averageness imo...

JJ are alright yeah, not quite punk legends though . I've got Punk Soul Brothers on cd, not listened in ages though. Never saw 'em live and just not a big enough fan to make a trip anywhere on their farewell tour...
Do you know if The Ruined are supporting on that date? Local band to me (local to home home anyway) Awesome band, horror punk, gets them loads of comparisons to The Misfits but they are really good in their own right link </BLOCKQUOTE>

The Decline is 18 minutes of magic!

The Ruined sound really good, but no they arent supporting! Al & The Black Cats, Not Your Hero and King Tuts Revenge are supporting on friday, you heard of any of them?

Gallows are quite simply the best punk/hardcore band around at the moment.

I was supposed to see them last summer support "Send More Paramedics" but had a Palace game that night, so didn't go big mistake.

Then they were supposed to support Hundread Reasons and Frank Turner in Kingston in December, but it was cancelled.

Finally got to see them live last month and they are just as amazing live as they are on record.

I'm also loving The Bronx at the moment (part down to Sky Blue Tom), seen them twice now, once supporting Biffy Clyro a couple of months back and once supporting Avenged Sevenfold about 3 years ago (i know, the shame).

The Bronx
Just see they have a London headling show in May. But at the Astoria

Other recommendations:

Bear vs Shark
Meet Me in St Louis
Optimist Club
Wives
Glassjaw
Devil Sold His Soul (really got into these again after missing them support Gallows). But I guess should go in the Metal thread?
The Blood Brothers - again maybe not for this thread.

Anti-Flag

Love a bit of Anti Nowhere League now and again. Went through a punk/ska phase a while ago and discovered illScarlett, half decent band from Canada.

A load of good bands been mentioned now

Strike Anywhere are one of my favourite bands, not sure why I didn't mention them tbh...

Lagwagon I've got into a lot recently, one of the "big" punk bands I didn't really pay attention to for ages.

This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb  Just got a couple of their albums too...

The Bronx are supporting Rise Against in May, looking forward to that gig. 1st time I will have seen RA do their own show and I imagine The Bronx live to be something definitely worth seeing...

That last sentence stands for Gallows too but I'll have to wait for them to tour or something...I'd say best british hardcore band atm, maybe. The Steal being the other contenders for this...Got that whole Kid Dynamite/Belvedere sound I just love recently. Completely different hardcore to what Gallows play.

Wouldn't be suprised if The Bronx are better than RA tbh. At Leeds (festival) last year Bouncing Souls played after (iirc, although it may have been before) Rise Against and basically just showed them how it was done. This being Rise Against my favourite band, Rise Against who before them I never had a favourite band...Maybe that was part of the problem though, expectations...Plus the fact their setlist is getting worse with each new album they bring out. Hate it when that happens

When I saw "The Steal" I read it as "The Scare" who are one of the worst bands have had the misfortune to witness.

Once supporting "Gay For Johnny Depp" last year. Amazing band btw. And once a few weeks back supporting the mighty "Reuben".

The Bronx are quality too, saw them live in January and they were great, singer really put the effort in despite having to stagger around on the stage due to a busted knee!
