Default how long does money take to go into a bank account?

Just wondering, i need some money putting into my account asap as i have about £45 in there atm and my insurance is going to come out on the 8th of this month. which is about double that. So will it go in instantly if im putting cash into my bank?

im not bothered about having to be able to get at it through a cash machine just that it goes in and the insurance can take it out.

If not what will happen?

Well , you get the aids.

But seriously , the bank will charge you , and your insurance will be annoyed at having to try to attempt withdrawl twice.
