My captain and central defender gets ruled out for 2-3 months at a specialist and I get the question if one of my other players will be given the opportunity to hold down a first-team place. There is just one problem with this and that is that the player they had looked out as the replacement is by all means a DC of some sort but his preferred position is DL and every single attribute confirms that. Now my DL is determined to show me he deserves a place in the first-team. Not sure I'm happy about upsetting one of my players cause I tell him I wont play him slightly out of position to get a first-team spot.

I no commented to losing one of my strikers after being asked could named midfielder replace him...eeeeaaah no.

i often get asked if a player i don't even consider unless there has been a plague/earthquake would fill the shoes of my best player. i often say "err... not really no... he might make the bench. maybe."
