Default Very Sorry! I need a quick ipod related answer!

Right firstly, sorry for starting another ipod thread. Its just id like a quick answer from someone with an ipod touch experience!! I expect if i posted in an ipod thread my question wouldn't be as noticeable.

Im thinking of buying just a 8gb ipod touch. the song capacity is 1,750. I doubt that i'd even put 750 songs on it. If i do that, will my video and photo capacity increase?

The specs on website say 'up to 5 hours' and i think i may want more.

Thanks in advance.

If the site says upto 5 hours for video, that means that you will get 5 hours on it if you use the whole 8gb for video. Those "upto" figures are if you use the whole capacity for that type of media.

ok cheers. Not what i wanted to hear! might have to get the more expensive one.

While we're at it!!!.... as my nano only does music and have had no experience of video on an ipod...

is putting video on it as easy as musci? Can i just put a dvd in my computer drive and put/download one episode of 24/prison break onto it? Or is it more complicated than that?

I've got a program called Handbrake Lite that does exactly that. Dunno if it works on Windows though.
