Ring any aerial monkey in the yellow pages, shouldnt be any more than £40 for them to run the cable external for you.

Sky generally talk **** though for the most part.

i use a wireless video sender to do what youre after, similar to this

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=98190&C=ne...0-5_L10AW&T=12099793

think mine cost £40 and does the job perfectly. get the odd bit of interference but nothing major and means i dont have wires trailing all round the apartment.

the one i have comes with some weird sensor things to stick on your sky box and through quite literally MAGIC the remote then works with the receiver in the bedroom. this is just standard sky but dont see why sky+ would be any different.

think i will buy that then? When I said its not practical to run a cable, its more to do with how the rooms are positioned compared to each other. Opposite sides of the house and on different floors

If there not opposite sides of the house, i.e front and back, then I'd spend that £40 on a getting someone to run an external cable rather than wireless.
