Dutch Dave is on a distinguished road
Default Henk Ten Cate (Ajax) to Chelsea, Martin Jol to Ajax.

This is what I'm hearing in the Dutch media anyways.

What's the english media reporting?

Only the former that I've read, and only as a coach, not as manager.

The Times mentioned that Jol would be a candidate for the job due to the way spurs have treated him, and him rejecting Ajax before.

True. He will be the assistant manager in charge of the trainings and stuff. The role he had at Barcelona when they won the title and Champions League.

Seems strange he would leave a managers job to go back to being someones assistant.

According to the media he will earn a few mill a year, about 3/4 times as much as his Ajax salary.
Money will do that to people.

Plus some people spend their entire career being an assistant/coach rather than becoming a manager. Some are just not suited for the pressure etc of being a manager.
