Ok I've made several comments on this now and to save repeating myself I've decided to make a thread on the matter. The full patch 8.0.1 is hopeless, the match engine allows heaps of chances (more than is realistic I think) and doesn't allow you to score them. To get round this simply reinstall the first beta patch, look I'll even make it easy for you, here's the address of a torrent you can get it from:

This patch is not as 'polished' as the full version, the board confidence is a little haywire (though in my case it's actually worked out they have a softer attitude towards me) and the team talks aren't great (but they aren't brilliant on the full patch either). There may be an issue with the morale bug but to be honest I only had a problem with this when I installed the second beta patch, and I'm quite happy with this so far. Also, the improvements my players made in training since the start of the season have been removed. But what's the point in having players with fantastic stats if they can't win matches anyway?

It's not the ideal solution but it's the best option until SI release a decent patch IMO.

I play 8.0.1 and yes, there are still many glaring issues, however, in general the patch has generally improved the game for me.

Just waiting for 8.0.2 which should make things all the sweeter for everyone though. :thup:
