I used to get this on 07. It's the RAM on your PC that's low, not your actual hard drive memory. Now, i'm no expert, so i'm sure somebody will correct me if i'm wrong, but to fix it shut down any external programs you're running (iTunes, internet etc) to free up system memory. Also, if you press CTRL, ALT, DEL and go into your task manager, you can right click on FM.exe and select a priority of high for that process. That allocates more RAM to FM.exe and should help. One other thing you can do is go to Control Panel> Performance and Maintenance > See Basic Information About Your Computer > Advanced > Settings > Advanced and change your Virtual Memory to a higher figure. This acts as a kind of RAM substitute. It's not as fast or as good, but it does help a bit.

If none of that works, it's time to think about whether you need a new PC or some more RAM (www.crucial.com)... Depends how much you want to play FM really.

CTRL - ALT - DELETE. Shut down any unneccessary running processes to free up a bit of memory.

In all probability it may well be referring to your hard drive. I assume you know what virtual memory is? Well Windows might be running out of it.

Use system tools clean up hard drive and defrag to tidy up drive. Right click on my computer and go to properties on their somewhere is a tool to increase virtual memory size. Here read this.....

lol noobs. It is referring to RAM or virtual memory. Hard drive is not "memory".

Virtual memory that Windows use to compensate for low RAM is harddrive space. If you are low on harddrive space on your system drive you will also be low on virtual memory as Windows can't increase it.

Yes I know but some people here obviously consider hard drive space memory.
