Default What is the best FM/CM version yet and with what patch?

Hi guys

I have got bored of FM2008 like many others. So I think I will go back and play som of the older versions of the game that I have always loved (untill this version)

Sorry for my bad English..

But I can't decide what version to play.. I'm thinking of the FM2006 version which I found very entertaining..

But which game do you think has entertained you the most and with what patch/database update?? I need some recommedations to play.. Thanks in advance

CM0102, why? Because it was a finished product, As many has mentions from CM4 on the product is never fully polished before SI tries to rebuild the match engine from scratch

I think FM2006 was a good game after the 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 patch.. I really enjoyed playing that game.. Actually I don't really remember CM0102 very clear..

Do anyone know if there are still any websites out there working with either FM2006 or CM0102?? It would be nice if there were some websites where I could get some updates for transfers and skins etc.

Thanks for the replies..

Keep 'em coming

Only after three or four patches, the last of which made long term games quite unstable. And then there was the match engine vulnerability to narrow formations that made it incredibly easy. CM 01/02 was as equally flawed and bugged as every other iteration of the game.

I'm currently enjoying CM99/00 and CM03/04, the key to this is actually "enjoying" the games - for games is what they are (were). FM08 seems to be more of a chore, an I guess it doesn't give me that buzz anymore - I don't rush home from work because I need to play and I don't dream about the upcoming six-pointer!!!

FM08 challenging? God yes! Enjoyable? Hell no!!!
