Default Rubbish Feeder Clubs

Im playin as MK Dons & the 1st 2 feeder clubs i have were semi-pro teams from the rep & n.ireland or wales. I know you get these sometimes but none of my players will go on loan to them which is why i wanted feeder teams in the 1st place! I know im only League 2 but i have CN/S leauges selected so how come i havent got any local teams to link with?

wait a few years, I got the same sort of thing initially, a few irish clubs, after 6 years or so I tried again and got a brilliant choice between wolves and birmingham

so true, i had to develop a different way of doing it, which was actually rather successful, that plus the stupid rule (for prem clubs anyway) that players bought from the uk (youth academy not much use so I use a wenger style approach of snapping up and developing the most promising youngsters from the british isles, although they're all frome english clubs) can't be sent on loan in that same window means that I can't actually use wolves to get my players first team football during the whole of what would be the training year before their introduction of the first team football. who thought of that one?

Ah i wondered why i couldnt send some players to feeder clubs! I think they tightened up on it after the tevez/mascherano fiasco. But yea its hard to try & develop youth players in the middle leagues, youth not quite good enough fo 1st team & not much money to buy decent ypung players!

On a related note. Can you have more than one parent club?

In real life there are also a lot of rubbish feeder clubs. In Belgium there are two teams Dender and Moeskroen who had two spanish feeder clubs but they didn't send any player who was 1st team worthy. And in moeskroen the manager was fired because he didn't selected the loaned players. The best example was Beveren but even that succesfull mariage was unsuccesfull in the long run.
