what really annoys me about this game is the high attributes but still fail doing things they have above 17.

Like if someone has 20 for finishing or 20 for free kicks, they should score nearly every single time from them.

Im not saying that players shouldnt have 20 for finishing and free kicks, im just saying that if the highest is 20, they should have it lowered if it isnt guaranteed this will be perfectly performed.

Hope people understand what im saying.

simple as 20 should not be installed if they cant do it every time

I unstand what your saying i have i player with free kicks of 19 in rateing and he scores 1 in about 10 from just outside the box it is annoying

I'm sorry - but in his prime David Beckham was one of the best Freekick takers on the planet and still only converted a relatively small percentage of freekicks which he took (between 20-30%).

You remember the ones that go in irl and quickly forget about the ones which miss or are saved ....

(and with 'finishing' also bear in mind that alone is in a 'non-pressure' environement, in a real-game a player has players around him and other factors to consider - so look at other attributes as well ... pressure, consistency etc.)

But for beckam, he should be getting a 13-15 and not a 20 if hes going irl

20 is an indication of a world class ability in a specific area. It doesn't mean he will do it perfectly all the time, just that he is one of the best around in this area.

I don't think a "20" is supposed to be perfect. Is it not meant to be "relative".

ie "20" is the best anyone can possibly be, but by no means perfect. Beckham's free kick taking for example or Shevchenko's finishing.

Its the same as if some one has a "1" attribute for finishing, this doesn't mean he will miss every single time.

but theres alot of unknown players that have 20 in finishing, i just dont understand how its worked out.

im just saying if 20 is the maximum and the player cant be matched upto it, then they shouldnt be given such a high rating

do you have an example of a lower league player with 20 for finishing? I've never seen one.

Sometimes a player can be a great finisher, but not a very good alround player so he doesn't play at the top level. e.g. lack of movement, no pace, poor passer etc etc.
