Arsenal have made a bid for my goalkeeper, Italy International Oscar Ustari. Hes worth 12.75 million, Arsenal have offered 18m.

My chairman has taken the matter into his own hands and accepted the offer!?

WTF IS THIS

WHAT DO I DO? THE ONLY OPTION FOR ME IS TOO CHEAT TAKE OVER ARSENAL AND SIGN HIM BACK??!?

Thats life in football sometimes. AT least you got an extra 50% of his value on top

Its a result of a the Chairman Interference stat which I assume has been scouted as being fairly realistic

Thats the life of a Manager sometimes.......
With respect to cheating, most would frown at this, besides not knowing what club you are, the player may find Arsenal the bigger club and want to stay..sorry

Mate Im blackburn, finished 3rd first season,5th 2nd season, and have 25 million in the bank. John Williams is chairman and hes a hands off chairman.

Theres too many cases off this going around on the forum I myself haven't experienced yet so i ain't causing a fuss bout it but it has to be looked at.

In fairness a few people have logged this. I think the point in question is that you have plenty in the bank already so why did he intefere

However the Chairman I guess simply saw this as too good an offer...this does happen irl.

There must be a fair few keepers you could replace him with for less money and keep the change ker...ching

Yeah not too miffed really. Robert Green is listed might get him for 4m. Looking at Akineev and Almenia too.

Green though probably, experienced keepers are always best and hes english.

I think I had akineev as my keepr in FM2007, rather good as I recall

can't you just offer a new contract to ustari once the bids accepted and if he accepts your the bid gets cancelled as he rejected them in favour of you?

I thought of doing so but couldnt be bothere JB22.

Also is this possible when approaching players at other clubs? Maybe the reason this was implented was to keep inflating transfer fees down, like the 95 million i paid in fm07 for sergio aguero.
