Is it possible to create the Catalunya/Catalonia national team and enter it in international competitions?

Would it also be possible to call up players that are eligible for Catalunya from the spainish national team if there international historys are "wiped"

I did this for the Basques in FM07 and it was fairly easy. It'd be much harder for the Catalans as you'd have to make/replace a nation with Catalonia and change every qualifying player's nationalities to Spanish/Catalan. The research alone would be pretty overwhelming, I think.
