Default Learning Languages

Do you learn new languages when you are the manager of a national team or just a club team?

To my knowledge, this is not a new feature at all. I was certain that in previous incarnations, you learned the native langauge of where you were based after a few months.

I'm playing FM05, and you definately only learn the language when in a club job, not a national one, in that version.

You can definitely learn new languages as manager of national teams, I managed Poland in one of my saves and after a few months (5-6) I think (can't remember because I went off on holiday a lot) and I learned Polish

I don't really know if attracts more players, but well, knowledge is power

Apparently for being half Finnish and half German I
also know English and Swedish.

I know if you go a country like Swiss, you instantly know French and German (maybe English) becuase thats what is spoken in different areas there.

This isn't infallible, though, as most of the players I sign for Servette end up speaking German and not French.
