I've just found out that you can manage a nation's under-19 or under-21 team at the beginning of a game.

This is how I did it..

Start a new game.

Click on leagues, then nations, Click on the nation from the list for example Wales, then click on Wales under 21/under 19 on the left hand side and click take control

It is quite buggy to be honest.

I am in my second season season as U19 manager and the following has happened.

When I appointed myself as U19 manager, John Toshack as sacked (29.6.2007).

John Toshack was employed as Wales manager (2.7.2007)

As I am under 19 manager, I have a shortlist of players eligible for Wales.

I removed those over 19 as they are not elible and a waste of space on my list.

The full manager will not take any players off me or the u21 squads so forces himself to play Swansea, Wrexham and Cardiff u18s for the full side.

It think I must be sharing my shortlist with the Wales manager.

When I cap under19 players with dual nationality for example English/Wales, they never change their nationality to Wales so it appears in game like they have played for England u19 and not Wales u19.

I am also able to move players aged 19 or under from u21 to u19 team without the u21 manager's consent.

I am also able to move players aged 19 or under from the full squad to u19 team without the international manager's consent.
