i dont think ive ever stuck with a poorly performing player long enough to get a sub-6 rating. i usually ship them off to the reserves for a spell, see if i can at least address their confidence.

i bought billy sharp for my villa side and aside from a brief run in the beginning when he bagged 6 goals, he's been crap (6.5 in 25 games) so off he went to the reserves.

Billy Sharp was quality for me, he got 28 goals in his first season in the prem.

mascherano - got him on a free from liverpool to Inter. he was terrible, sold him to Lazio for 12 million, thanks Lazio!

WHAT!!!! Billy Sharp is mint, always has been whoever i buy him for.... scored 34 in 30 for me at Sheff United and then 16 in 15 for my Manchester Utd team....

Worst player ever...Phil Bardsley, signed him up to try and shore up my ailing Sheff defence...sure he made it worse...

Ever Banega, a promising DM from Boca Juniors with a PA of 187. Was absolutely woeful for me, kept holding onto the ball for far too long, I tried persisiting with him to let him settle into the style of play etc but after 16 games and an ave rating of 6.13 I had to drop him.

Also Gavin McCann, bought him for Wian and he has pretty good stats, got booked every other minute and have an AR of 6.34.
