My minimum expectations with FC Bayern in the second season were win League and win both cups! I went out of the League Cup in the semi final and the board were less than impressed, saying that failure like this would not be tolerated in future and the players should be made aware of this.

Is there any way to let the players know as a whole that the cup run wasn't up to scratch? And if not why bother having this expression in the confidence section.

Confidence section is in need of improvement. It doesn't work properly, IMO. You can win CL and which ever league you're playing and have the board upset about a meaningless cup game.

No way to let them know other than your team talk but that comes before this message. Other than that you can only critisiuze their recent form. It would be nice if you could tell the players the minimum expectations and if they are loyal to you as manager, they might try harder to get there.
