My team (York City) start the game with no parent/feeder clubs so in the interest of gaining my younger players experience and improving my first team squad I'd like to make a request for one of these.

Question is, how do I go about making this request?

I know how to make a request when you already have the 'Affiliated Clubs' button on your squad page as I played as Brighton on the demo, but when this button isn't there to start with I'm pretty stumped.

I don't even think it's under board request either.

Have I glaringly missed something or do I have to be at a club for a certain amount of time before such a request can be made?

It should be in the board request if you don't have any affiliated clubs already, is it not there?

Hmm, it should be in 'Board Room' >> Board Request >> Request Feeder/Parent club

Hmm, I'll have another check under the board requests section when I get home, but I don't remember it sitting amongst the usual stadium expansion and raising funds for wages/transfers.
