DK10. Can't see much wrong with your long post if I'm honest.
I honestly do believe that you can create a tactic, (or a number of tactics), that create different types of chances, and these different types of chances have different chances of resulting in a goal.
I don't ever go into T&TGF but I am adamant that it is possible with a little bit of thought and s little bit more attention to detail.
If it makes any difference, (just to gine you an idea), I don't dominate teams the way that many others do, and as a result I have not encountered the 1v1 bug that seems to be causing so many problems. I think the reason behind this is that I am creating fewer goal-scoring opportunities, but that they are of a better quality than might otherwise be expected due to my formation, tactic and overall style of playing.
You mentioned my LLM thread and I think that is an additional point. Because I play to LLM rules, I create and adapt my own tactics and it has changed very slightly over a period of games crossing about 12 seasons. It means I have a VERY clear idea of not only what I want my players to do, but also why I want them to do it. Posters who download other peoples tactics or take advice, possibly don't grasp why they are trying to get their players to do sometjing in particular and this can create issues even when it is working because many do not know why it is working.
I'm really no expert and I am resisting from posting "It's your tactics", because it's both rude and unhelpful. It may be your tactics but to be honest I have no idea. What I would say is that in my experience it is possible to change the type of goalscoring chance you create to try and get round the seemingly unbeatable GK's.
Many may feel that you should not have to go into this great amount of detail in order to achieve which only limited success in what you rightly describe as "............." actually you didn't use a single word or phrase but your sentiments were correct,
the standard is shocking in N.Ireland.
Your recent posts have been in a sensible, reasonable and articulate manner and I was quite surprised to see your registered date as your name is not one that I recognise. If you play by LLM rules then I guess that you will jast have to wallow in your mediocrity, but if you don't then maybe a visit to the T&TGF might help you a little in terms of creating opportunities.
I appreciate that the game has evolved over the years and is now a very in depth tactical battle and not the game that we both once played many moons ago. I like the way the game is going but appreciate that it can be VERY frustrating.
And one final thing....
What's that saying.....
There are lies, damn lies, and statistics
