living in the states unless i get someone in england to post me one, i have to use WSC 08.

as it is very difficult to get in my part of the world, and rather than just shop online i thought "ah, i can now download it digitally."

as i cannot find a topic here, i wonder if i can get help please with this problem.

all contracts must expire, or you have to pay a fee for players who are in their last year of contract.

i suppose it works both ways in that you don't have to pay new contracts in december one problem i am now experiencing is that i am now over this years budget having just renewed my players contracts before i (thought) i would lose them.

i have downloaded the new patch but that doesn't seem to fix the problem ~ or will i have to start a new game as the "save" has already loaded the "bug" into it.

anyone else here having a problem ? i would imagine that by going over the posts that not many u.s. based ex-pats play this after digitially downloading online.

usually i got mates to send me over a copy, but at 29.99 dlrs is is cheaper to buy here with the dollar/pound being what it is, and you can download it in about 5 minutes with a T1 download speed.

i have tried to contact boonty who are the u.s. digital download folks for support but you have to fill in a pre determined e mail generated response and in order for it to process you have to access the game from a drop down menu.

trouble is, WSC 2008 ISN'T available on the menu.

ergo i cannot send a self generated response.

meanwhile i can continue to play this way, it is a pain though you have no idea who is coming in next year as you cannot sign ANYONE until their contract has expired.

problem with my current game is they gave me no transfer money and other teams are signing players in the last 6 months of their contract for fees instead of a bosman.
