I just had a player booked for diving when he was through on goal I must admit I've never seen this in FM before.

I'm in 2018 now and still seeing new things in the game sometimes SI do get things right.

Though I'm sure diving should be happening more in the game as I said before first time I've seen it in 07 or 08 and it took 10 seasons.

Can't say i've noticed it in my game tbh, can't say i remember seeing it ever actually. Just out of curiosity, was it a regen who dived? Could be some sort of legal ramifications if they make ronaldo or robben take too many tumbles, which could be why we don't see it too often...

Nope actually wasn't i don't want to spoil it for anyone but a very well known young Chile wonderkid on 07 who is still decent on 08.

The best part like any manager at the time i was furious convinced I should have a penalty and the offender sent off and banned for life.

I've had this happen to me all the time from both of my strikers. I'm playing in the Bosnian second tier, though, so I'll take any advantage I can get.

Diving is sweet in fm 08. There no better feeling then beating ManUtd 1-0 with a dive from Torres and a penalty converted my Stevie G

I think conceding red cards, missing training etc is a bit easier to prove than "player x dives" which is much more subjective. Hence it is possible that the player may be a bit annoyed at being given more bad press and could very easily refuse to allow SI to use his image rights - e.g. jens musterman.

Hence a feel it could EASILY be a case of SI not wanting to irritate players.

I've seen this a few times on 08 so far and they have all been my players as well.

Think I have had Rooney, Tevez and Aguero caught diving playing as Man U.
