What are uou talking about? There will definitely be an 8.0.2 to include jan transfers and fix spanish/german reg bugs, so i would hope they fix some other things at the same time.
As to the OP, there are MUCH more serious problems than the rating system. Grey teams overperforming make llm an uphill (or more so) struggle, the spanish reg bug makes playing in a spain or germany a gamble as you don't know how long before it just dies on you; both of these impact the game much more than one keeper getting an 8 and the other getting a 7.
ANYTHING that is marked out of 10 (and in the case of FM generally 5-9) will be flawed simply because of the lack of resolution. So tbh i just use other means of judging my team rather than relying on what the game tells me - if you don't like the av ating then use pass completion, tackles, headers, SOTs etc - there's a wealth of information for those who want it. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I was not talking about a patch.Eventought Marc said on one of the threads that he wasn't sure if there was going to be another patch or not. What I meant to say,I have a bad feeling that there is not going to be a FM09. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Which is even more laughable. I will quite happily bet my house that there will be an FM09. SI will not stop making football manager games (nor will they just make FM live if that's what you're thinking) just beacause 08 was a bit sketchy.
And i emphasise A BIT sketchy. Because when all is said and done it isn't a bad game at all.
And of course Marc isn't sure about patches. He doesn't work on the PC version of the game.
So for all those who may be in doubt:
There will almost certainly be an 8.0.2 patch.
There will almost certainly be an FM09.
Sorry to sound harsh bcm, but what your coming out with is not only completely unfounded but not in any way productive.
