Default Amazing assistants

Just got Gianfranco Zola as my assistant for Bath City in the Championship, to be fair his stats are actually quite good...anybody else got any legendary assistants they'd like to share?

Tony Adams

Legend at Arsenal! But to be fair, he is quite ***** in the game (I think). I'm at around 2012 mark and Pat Rice retired so I'm searching for Assistant Manager. Don't know who to get to be honest. If Henry or Bergkamp was coaching, I would get them ^^. Or anyone with good stats. But those that have good stats are asking too much money. I might take your advice and try to get Zola

Marcel Desailly ain't bad too btw. Also Pako Ayestaran.

My assistant is brilliant. Can't remember his name but every time I hit a bad spell of results, I just go on holiday for a couple of weeks and he wins every time.

Go a goal down? Go on holiday. Almost always manages to get a good result.

Now, if only he could tell me what he is doing differently?

The best Assistant Manager on the game, according to Genie Scout, is Alan Irvine from Everton

Johan Neeskens from Barca used to be really good but I haven't tried him on fm08.

I need a new assistant manager now. Am thinking of getting Pako Ayestaran but I'm looking at different possibilities.

is it possible to go on holiday for a year despite currently being in a job?

or would you just get fired?
