Mine's not the total disaster you'd expect, but at least an original way of going about it.
I left Brentford in the summer of 2056.
At the time, instead of bringing a list of potential replacements for me, I got a message saying the media refused to speculate on my replacement.
And, true enough, three years later, they have still not appointed a new manager.
More crucially, as well as not offering a contract to any potential managers, no other contracts have been offered to anyone else.
There have been no new signings, and players contracts have been allowed to expire.
This is the full first team squad that will contest the 2059/60 premier league (don't worry, the injuries aren't long term)
The reserves are empty too, so the only other players at the club are the under 18's (who all leave after a year when their contracts don't get renewed)
The backroom staff doesn't seem to be faring much better, currenty consisting of two coaches and one scout).
Despite the ever dwindling player pool (last seasons fist team squad featured 12, including 3 goalies, 1 full bck and 0 wingers)
Despite this, what appears on the surface to be lunacy, the club are actually doing quite well.
They've been consistantly in the later stages of the chamions league, and challenging for the title.
So despite this it hasn't been a disaster for them, and I'm sure you guys can beat this.
