Default Editing finances

.. on the Editor, obviously

I'm trying an 'experiment' ( :o ) whereby I give QPR a vulgar amount of cash to spend (a bit like the real life scenario - potentially) then piddling off on holiday for a few years, returning to see how well they're doing with boat loads of £'s but an abysmal ground and a relatvely unknown reputation.

The problem I'm having is actually implementing the cash injection using the editor. I have tried putting £1b in the bank as well as adding a Sugar Daddy, I've tried upping the transfer budget to £100m as well as removing the club's debt. I've even tried doing this whilst at the same time making the club a plc, but nothing seems to work in that the club's finances aren't particularly spectacular regardless of my tweeking.

The greedy fockwits won't give much away, where as someone like Abramovich for example releases £80m - £100m at the start of the game.

Can someone please tell me how to make QPR filthy rich and how to stop the chariman being a tightwod. Please?

Ta.

actually they're acting just like in real life, the briatore and mittel have decided not to splash so much cash, but invest wisely.

But as of what i have just read from the BBC, they ahve just made their 11th signing of this transfer window, some brazillian defender, in addition to Rowan Vine. But all their transfers were cheap(1 million and below)so yea, they aren't spending a vulgar amount of money.

I realise that, but it doesn't really help me or answer my question. Fuzz.

Download FM Modifier, it is an editor you use whilst playing the game, i.e. you load a game and can edit it live , after every fixture if you wish.

This gives you a "club benefactor" option which would be much the same as Mr Abramovich.

The reason is that there is a relationship between a club's finances and their reputation. So you can't give a Blue Square South team, say, £100m unless you improve their reputation.

It's not an official release but it's not illegal or anything.

Don't have the link but it's on CM Frenzy - CM/FM Dowloads - FM2008 - Utilities.

Ahh, I see. Thought that may be the case.

Thanks.
