Anyone notice that about 50% of corners end with the striker missing a chance that is easier to score? Not just my team, but the opposition too.

No, but I gave up playing near post corners, because I noticed that the attacker would always head it straight out, with the ball not even going in the direction of the goal. In fact, this seems like a good point to add to my Match Engine wishlist thread...

seriously, it wasn't like a near post flick on, just the keeper blocked it, heskey way open with no one near, the keeper was on the opposite direction, and he goes and flicks it past the post. i was so bliddy mad i substituted him faster than you can say 'England'.

Its things like these which is why he never gets selected for England!grrr.
