I hate Liverpool's board in FM 08! I'm not complaining about this in a sense of a bug, but about a sense of annoyance, at least to me. I've chose to manage Liverpool and I saw out the end of my contract having won the Premiership in "the two year plan" that they had notified me about. I took the Premiership the first season, and the League Cup the next, and finishingin painstaking 4th; and now they won't even "consider" my contract. I am now forced to leave because of they're immense lack of unappreciation, and the only decent job offers that are coming in for me are not all that good. Sunderland seems the only club showing interest, and after serious cosideration, I just might make the move.

I've even developed a strong relationship with the players, with nearly half of them who listed me as their Favoured Personnel. As much as we had good times though, I will never go back to that club while it's under such ruling.

Now you know how Rafa feels. Oh wait, he hasn't won the league :p

Leave to sunderland and win the league there and then laugh at those ungrateful yanks!

i finished second 3rd first season, equal to what was expected of me, final of cl, no domestic cups, and they were pleased. (whitout alonso, who the sold for 45mil앣euros )

next season i was 4th in october and they were furious at me not going in the direction they want

yeah tahts the problem with the 2 year plan, but then you made the expectations higher after winning it in your first season, same thing happened to me with united.

i know how you feel they were the same with me as well. 3 league titles and two fa cups in 4 seasons and they wouldn't extend my contract when i finished 3rd. i left and there was a mass exodus of staff with most of the backroom people leaving.

i don't think this is specific to liverpool. With HSV i won the german league 3 times, and got no new contract, with chelsea i won 2 CLs and a prem, and got no new contract, and PSV only gave me a new contract after doing the treble....

So probably another case of the utterly woeful board confidence feature.
