Default Vista Problems - Disk Issues?

I've just got a new Vista Laptop and looking to load FM08 onto it, succesfully played game on my desk top.but issues with laptop.
I've managed to load game but then when I hit the .exe and despite using a 'genuine' disk, I get...

You are trying to start a copy-protected application which requires the original disc to be in the CD/DVD-ROM drive. Please check to make sure your disc is an original.

Anyone else encountered this?
Any suggestions appretiated.

I think this is covered in the known issues thread at the top of the Bugs forum

I had this too to begin with.

I can't remember exactly, but I think that running as administrator fixed it for the first run in my case.

I think there's also a text string that works too in the bugs forum. After that, the game should run "sin problema" - without problem.
