jcb23 is infamous around these parts
Default Here's a new one on me. Anyone else seen it?

My club, Fafe in Portugal, has a 19000 capacity stadium. It's crippling us. But I digress. I just had, completely out of the blue, the news message:

"The Health and Safety Inspectorate has closed part of the West Stand, reducing the seating capacity by 1900"

That's a new one on me as well.

Methinks you better hire more personnel to do the cleanup...

I saw it in a strange 03/04 game where manure had huge debts ended up in the 'old second division' and had part of their stadium closed. but only ever seen it once.

It's one of the many 'nice' touches in the game

Saw it in one of the older editions. I was managing spurs who'd managed to get themsleves relegated to the championship (or div 1 as it was then).

We had about a quarter of the white hart lane closed down over the course of a season before a new board took over.

They never did seem to reopen any of the space though

Never seen that before, but I love little extras like this.

By the way, having been in a Portuguese stadium, it frightens me to consider what conditions it would take for the health and safety inspectorate to close a part of it down.

I've seen those mesages a lot of times. Usually when I'm in dire straits and about to be relegated
