If you unistall FM...
Start a new game in v 8.0.0...
Then update to 8.0.1...
Will you get 'normal' (better (more realistic)) regens and a fixed match engine?

A lot of the fixes in the 8.0.1 patch start immediately after the Patch is installed. Some things only take effect at the end of the season (19th June in England) .. I would expect this to happen at the end of the season as it's to do with Regens.
