Help with the patch.

Hi folks.
I'm a little unsure over the patch. I've downloaded it from gamershell, what exactly do I need to do to update the game?

I have, but now I get an error saying a sharing violation occured while accessing c:program files: si ETC. The update goes back to the start. Now what?
