Playing CM03/04 v4.1.5 on Large Database with Scotland and England, all Leagues, selected.
I started off at East Stirlingshire in my solo game, just as I had in the LLaMa Clan game.
Season 1
We signed three scouts, two coaches, a physio and an AssMan, sent the scouts out to find youngsters and Scotsmen and set down to play.
In keeping with my continuing policy of "Cups suck ass", we played old guys, youths and donkeys in all three Cups resulting in a 2nd round exit to Inverness Caley Thistle in the Challenge Cup, a 2nd round exit to Hibs in the League Cup, and a 4th round exit to Hearts in the Scottish Cup.
A kind of lurching league campaign saw us achieve promotion in second place on the last day of the season, beating 1st placed Stirling while erstwhile 2nd placed Montrose lost to Cowdenbeath.
Unexpected but welcome and fully vindicating the Cup policy.
Season 2
We signed a trio of Bosmans, one very good looking chap  and two donkeys, and a few youngsters who look as if they may do not too bad in the future.
The good looking guy turned out to be a bit of a goal machine, when he wasn't nursing his groin

, and the youngsters fitted in well to earn us a second promotion in second spot, this time finishing second to Raith Rovers but well ahead of Stirling.
Cups suck ass, and this time we bowed out at the first hurdle in the Challenge Cup to Ross County in extra time, in the 2nd round to Aberdeen after a penalty shoot-out in the League Cup and an unbelievable run in the Scottish Cup which saw us lose to SPL Champions Rangers in the final, thus ensuring a Uefa Cup spot in the first season in Division 1.
The money from this and the sale of the good looking fella and two youngsters found in the first season earned enough money for a Stadium expansion and
this message. Never seen it before and I
love it.
We're just about to start our first season in Division 1, with the Uefa Cup to look forward to, and four Bosmans - one quite unusual, an EPL regular - and some youngsters, a couple of them released by EPL Clubs, all Scots btw, give me an unnerving amount of confidence for the season ahead.
