USA striker Eddie Johnson has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Fulham.
The forward has completed his move to the Premier League strugglers from Kansas City Wizards after a successful application for a work permit.
Johnson becomes Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson's third signing of the January transfer window following the arrivals of Danish midfielder Leon Andreasen and Norwegian defender Brede Hangeland.
Hodgson told Fulham's official website: "I have made no secret of the fact that I believe the squad lacks a certain balance in specific areas of the team and following the loss of Brian McBride to injury, this is true of our strike force.
"At 6ft 1in Eddie has the presence that will complement the other forwards within our squad and he has the ability to offer us another dimension to our attacking play.
"I am delighted that he has joined us and am grateful to the representatives from the Home Office for granting him the work permit which will enable him to play for us as soon as possible."
Never signed him on FM, but i know many will be disapointed, as he will either cost too much or not be as good now!
Generally kept out 1 of either Vela,Okaka,Huntelaar or Aguero in my all conquering villa side on fm07, think fulham need someone that good this year to have a chance of staying up!
Johnson could be a big success in the EPL imo. ecspecially for fulham where they lack firepower upfront because McBride and Bouazza are just not worth a pinch of crud.
