I think that the revenue from friendlies is possibly a little too easy to exploit.
My key example for this was having Hyde United in the BSN, with no youth or reserve competition fixtures. I set up a string of friendlies for them against teams such as Athletico Madrid C, Barcelona B, Real Madrid C, etc...
i was very surprised to see that each game's attendance was a sell-out and my youth and reserve team gate receipts were about 80-100k per game.
Now I admit that if my Hyde United team had been fortunate enough to get a sell-out against say the Barcelona first team, then a sell-out crowd would be highly expected, but for my youth team, against another youth team?
I openly admit that I've taken advantage of this exploit/cheat to boost the finances of lower league clubs on occasion, as it's hard to resist not doing it - expecially when your board is a bunch of tight-fisted old gits who only let you have 5% of all transfer renevue!!
Maybe it's something that needs a little tweek if it's possible.
