I started a game with MK Dons and loaned the legend that is Frazier Campbell. He got 41 goals in 41 games and helped me win League 2. MK Dons were now one one his favourite clubs, alongside Man Utd and I was his only favourite personnel.

Season 2 comes and I straight away go in to loan Campbell again. He is in the reserves at United still and listed for loan again. My offer of a season long loan is accepted and I expect him to jump at the chance of a higher league than last season plus another chance to work with his favourite personnel and one of his favourite clubs again... however all I got was a 'Frazier Campbell has no intention of going on loan to MK Dons'... I can't believe it!!

I understand his reputation may have increased due to his prolific season last term but it was only League 2 so it couldn't have increased that much. No-one else is interested in him... I am his favourite club and personnel... I am in a higher league than when he signed up for a season last time around.. what is going on?? Why won't he sign??

Training facilities may play a part in this. Sometimes a player will be unwilling to go to a club that has a much poorer standard of training facilities than his current club. Apart from that I'm not sure why he's turned you down to be honest.

Maybe he signed a new contract?

I feel sometimes attracted to some girls and after a year or something the magic is over.

Maybe Frazier Campbell doesn’t love you anymore…

I always notice how everybody spells his name wrong

My training facilities are the same as when he joined the first time around. I have more season tickets holders this season as well (obviously) so there's more of a crowd to cheer us on than last season...

I just think it's really odd. I'll keep trying to get him as I'm not even in mid July yet.

Maybe his CA & reputation increased a fair bit playing week in week out and scoring all those goals.

He might think he's too good for anything less than the championship now?

The loan system imo is badly flawed on the game. I've seen so many examples of players being available for loan with their personal screen saying "Looking forward to going out on loan to gain experience", only for them to turn down my club who are amongst the best clubs who can loan him in.

Even more annoying is when they then decide to sign for an AI team in a lower division as happened to be a fair bit on FM2007.

I understand you. In my first season managing Merthyr, I loaned Chris Jones from swansea. He scored 35 goals in 21 matches more or less, including 7 goals in one single match and 7.74 over the season.

next season I wanted to loan him again, and swansea had no problem, but he didn't accept. He spent 2 seasons in swansea u18. Then he jumped to reserves, but he still didn't want to play for my team, despite I was then in BSP. By january he went on loan to another club, and next season he still was at swansea reserves.

when he was 24 he went on free by swansea, didn't want to sign for me but signed for a club in my same division (maybe more reputation, but me and my team were in his favourites!!!)

After 17 years he still holds some records for me :p
