Default G14 Disbanding and International Compensation

So, Fifa just announced that they've reached an agreement with the organisation G14. G14 will disband but all clubs will soon be able to receive compensation for their players on international duty.

Although it's very early days and not much is yet known. But eventually I would imagine this would be included in the game.

So does anyone know if the clubs will be receiving and significant amount of money for countries calling up their players? Will that mean in future FMs it's actually going to have some more noticeable financial advantages for signing an international player?

If that's the case, I'd think international management would needs some big improvement, currently they're just abit too unrealistic.

As far as I know the compensation will be a set amount per player regardless of that players actual wage.

What I'm not sure about with whether it is the individual FA's or FIFA/UEFA that will pay the compensation, It would also be interested to know if any of the other continental associations will participate in the scheme.

What kind of compensation will clubs be entitled to?

Is it just for when a player gets injured playing for the national team or does it cover other things as well?

I think it's a set amount of money for participating in Fifa World Cup and European Championship. Not sure about friendlies, not sure about whether there will be extra money if the players were injured.

I think it will just be for injuries.

As for the amount payed it comes down to alot of factors, the value of the player, the wages they earn, the length of time they are out and the chances that the injury could be reoccuring. But i would have thought it'll be at least a year before details like that are ironed out.

The clubs will get paid injury or no injury, and it is likely to be in the tens of thousnds per player, per game.

Oh and the money will come from FIFA, not the individual FA's

From what I've read this is not the case.

As has been said teams will receive a flat fee lets say £5000 GBp per week while their player is representing their country in a World Cup/European Championship finals.

The players value (which is always open for debate) & current wage with his club will not be taken into account.

As for compensation for injuries as far as I know this is a seperate issue & will take ages for a common agreement to be settled upon.

I have read more into it and yep, i stand corrected, it'll be a flat fee regardless of the player.
