Default Fastest re-appointment?

Afternoon all,

I was managing Blackpool in League 2 (I didn't get them there!), after 14 years of living in North London - managing both Arsenal and Tottenham. Anyway, on the 3rd April 2021 I was sacked by the Blackpool board and replaced by Phil Parkinson (who was also a previous manager of Blackpool) on the 4th April 2021. But, on the 5th April 2021 Phil Parkinson was sacked (one day in charge!) and on the 6th April 2021 Blackpool offered me the job again - three days after sacking me!

Has anyone seen a quicker re-appointment and sacking for that matter?

I don't want any replies like 'it's because the game is rubbish and SI suck' because this is a load of bull, as this is a great game, which I play night and day everyday.

Thanks for reading.

Not seen anything quicker but does sound a bit unrealistic.

In RL the board would have had pay up your contract, then pay up the new mgrs contract as well when they sacked him 2 days later.... then they go and offer you the job again?!

Too wierd, shouldn't be happening in the game methinks

Here's my career so far...

Arsenal: 2007 - 2011
Tottenham: 2011 - 2017
Uruguay: 2012 - 2024...still in charge
Blackpool: 2020 - 2021
Blackpool: 2021 - 2022
Hull City: Jan 2022 - April 2022
Morecambe: June 2022 - Jan 2023
Middlesbrough: Jan 2023 - 2024...still in charge

Yes, I've had my ups and downs as you can see from my last few appointments.

Thanks for reading

That is fantastic! And even if it is a blip in the game, its still quality!!!

I've noticed in my first season on the game that Sunderland have changed managers 3 times but each manager lasted about 3 months, rather than 3 days!

I suspect that the game is coded in such a way that this is not supposed to happen or, at the very least, this is not something SI would aim to recitfy. This *may* be linked to the board confidence problem, so would the OP consider posting this on the bugs forum to see if this is a bug that needs looking at?

Bratto17 why did you go from Arsenal to Tottenham, the fans must have loved you... not.

that is a big step backwards. Apart from that good carrier what have you won? Did you only load up England.

matthewtaylor - I won the Premiership twice, the FA Cup once and the Champions League once, as well as reaching and losing two consecutive League Cup finals at Arsenal. At Spurs I won the Premiership once during my second season, after finishing 3rd in my first season, I won the FA Cup once and reached and lost two consecutive League Cup finals (in all four League Cup finals, I have lost to Chelsea in all of them), I reached another FA Cup final and lost to Man City.

To be honest, after I left Arsenal I wanted a challenge and Spurs snapped me up pretty quickly. Yes, I only loaded up the English Leagues.
