Ok, so I left the game with my beloved Arsenal midway (with the full intention to go back soon) and decided to start a game as Derby to see what the fuss is about them being really tough. First time ever I've tried them tbh.

I tried looking for a thread on them, not there's none so I'm making a new post.

Anyone who's playing/has played with them have any tips for me? Specifically, what players should I get rid of? Ones which wont be of any use at any point that is. Anything will be helpful really.

Till now I've managed to sort out my coaches and have got all 6* & 7* coaches except for Set-pieces.

I got a 10M (close to) budget and I selected "avoid relegation" as the expectation. Made plenty of first-team signings so far:

GK: Vincent Enyeama - 500K
CB: Sergey Ignashevich - Free
CB: Mirel Radoi - 1.8M
LM: Andy Van Der Meyde - 2.3M
ST: Bogdan Stancu - 180K
ST: Billy Sharp - 2.9M

Was surprised I got Billy Sharp tbh. I scouted him to see if he'd be interested and it came up as "extremely intersted". When I signed him on, he released a statement to the media with the title "Sharp hits out at Robson". Apparantely he had some tiff with Bryan Robson and thats why he wanted to leave. Weird, but good for me.

I've been doing some serious sucking up to Wenger so I can get some of the players for cheap. Have just tabled in a loan bid for Hoyte with a 2.5M future transfer fee. Hopefully its successful. Till now I've only sold Mitchell Hanson for 250K. Tried to get Omar Esparza but he failed the WP sadly.

Can anyone tell me which of the following players is worth keeping and which ones I should sell (and for how much):
Eddie Lewis
Kenny Miller
David Jones
Dean Leacock
Stephen Pearson

Am keeping Bywater, Earnshaw & Davis for sure. The rest I'm not sure about or am offloading. Any help on them would be great and maybe some recommendations? Cheers.

great signings so far mate... especially sharp and radoi... top quality

first off.. dont even think abotu selling barnes .. not for the prices you can get for him yet...

need a left back... try for puhlac or failing that for for sepsi... puhlac is a top top player

id get the usual lot of torje , rene mihelic, dzsudszak etc in... good players and brings in cash next season if needed

Eddie Lewis - backup (wont get a good price)

Kenny Miller - backup to sharp and stancu , 3rd best u have

David Jones - second best player derby have, great player..keep

Dean Leacock - sell if u can get a mil or above for him, if not backup

Stephen Pearson - i kept him , had about 10 -15 games under his belt first season and sold him to villa for 7mil .. up to you really on this one.. bit hit n miss i think

Cheers for the help mate. I too was particularly pleased with the Sharp signing. But as my luck would have it, the damn game crashed and now the file is corrupted and I cant reload it!! Just my bloody luck! Now I gotta go find another forward from somewhere! BAH! Oh well, will start over and see if I can do any better this time. Thanx for the help and the link. Had forgotten about that.
