Hi
Its been a while after I released Chameleon now and I was really pleased with how people took to it. After somewhat losing atheskinning fever I have started work on something else.
Its called "Wrap Around" at the minute and is a continuation of my Chameleon mentality - where the skin changes in colour depending on the team. This time round though its goes further. It also aims to combine some of the disjointed separate panels on the screen.
So here are three screenshots of Wrap Around showing the changing of colours depending on the team you look at:
Wolves Sunderland Real Madrid
Current problems/things I know need sorting:
Selected item highlight colours - As can be seen on the Real Madrid shot, when a team has a white main colour the white text highlightcolour does not show very well. I had to plum for one colour (whichever one I chosse there is always going to be a team it clashes with) and white seems the best. Hopefully if i can find out what the text style is for outlined text this won't be a problem.
Clashing team colours - when teams have primary and secondary colours that somewhat clash in real life (I am citing Barca as an example with red/blue) they tend to clash in the skin. Its unavoidable but again I suspect being able to have black outlined text would help.
Left handed version might or might not happen depending on if people want one - RH is 'the daddy'
IMO.
I will say this now - I am still a LONG way from release - not even a guess-timate of a date. I have a lot of upcomming commitments and things like the match screen still need to be started. I also want to play test for longer once it is done. Please don't post asking for me to 'hurry up and release'. I thought I'd at least get some shots out there to show people what I am up to.
