Default Spokesman retiring?

Do the club/country spokesmen ever retire? Or, in 2060, are all the spokesmen 120 years old? It's something that I've been curious about for a while, as my current spokesman annoys me, and if there was a chance of another one coming along, I'd be quite pleased.

He was 58, but I used FMM and made him 20 years older to try to tempt him into retirement. But, three years on, he's still going strong (and looking remarkably well for an 81 year old)

Mine is 67, and he looks it! Can't trust a word he says. Handy for boiled sweets though.

Good, so they do change eventually. I'm hoping he'll eventually decide that he's a bit too old to be telling me who to sign and who not to.

On a slightly odd side note, I found that I had the option to fire my Nigeria spokesman, which I took, just to see what would happen. A news item came up saying he had been fired, but he remained as spokesman, only the 'National Team' option was greyed out. I like to think I won, though.

He is in the confidence section telling you what the supporters think. For example on the match confidence screen it is the spokesmen telling you the opinions of the fans. Read the screen and it will mention his name and you can even click on it to look at his profile and facegen.
