I can understand this. IRL if coventry got to the FA cup final, i'd be ecstatic but still majorly disapointed if we didnt win

You're kidding, yes?

Of course you'd be dissapointed but you wouldn't blame the manager for it. You play someone like CHelsea in the final, you DO NOT expect to win. If you do, it's a bonus. Even reaching the final was a massive achievement, I beat Watford away, beat Newcastle over a replay then beat Man Utd to reach the final. It should not blemish the managers record. To reach the final should be celebrated not critisized.

Even worse. The next months confidence summary came up.

The board feel you should be performing better.

They have been 'particularly upset' about the defeat to Chelsea.

So I take the team from 14th and get them promoted, reach the FA Cup Final and I should be performing better.... right.
