In my first season I got Stoke City into 1st place in the Championship which got me into the Premiership, I've just got relegated since the teams were basically murdering me, since I only had a small budget of 3 million. Just before I was relegated I signed a new contract with Stoke City for a budget of 7.8 million (At the end of the season Stoke all got tooken over by Neil Allen who has put Stoke on the stock market so I should be able to get more money if needed). The transfer window has just opened and I've just played some friendlies and my team is getting hammered by league two teams. I've just lost my keeper since he wanted a contract which I couldn't afford (something like £24k per week. Which means I need a new keeper.

(I've just got asked to be the England manager and so I accepted, is there any reason why I can't ask Beckham back?)

So my question is, are there any players I could sign that will drastically improve my team? I still have the full 7.8 million to spend.

Well if you need a new goalkeeper, try and get Robert Olejnik on loan from Aston Villa. However, he seems to favour going to league 1 teams over championship. But he still is a good goalkeeper. Was good enough for my SWFC team in the premiership. However I cant recommend any players due to my new game with SWFC.
